RULES:
+ Console: Xbox One
+ 1 vs 1 style. Single elimination. Each match is Best of 1 Game.
+ Players can be any of the current NBA teams and can even face each other as the same team (i.e. Warriors vs Warriors).
+ Mercy Rule: If a player is losing by 40 points or more by the beginning of the 4th quarter, the match will be called in the leading team’s favor.
+ All game settings and sliders will be set to default except for the quarter length, difficulty, and injuries. (see below)
+ Play Now Mode
+ Quarter Length: 6 minutes. Finals will be 8 minute quarters.
+ Difficulty: Hall of Fame
+ Fatigue: ON
+ Injuries: OFF
+ Excessive pausing will lead to disqualification. Pausing during an opponent’s free throws is not allowed (only once the rebound is clearly secured).
+ No custom players or customized rosters.

RULES:
+ Type: Single Elimination, 1 vs 1
+ Mode: Play Now
+ Exhibition style for all matches except finals. Super Bowl Presentation for Finals
+ Quarter Length: 5mins, 6mins for Finals
+ Min Play Clock: 25 seconds
+ Accelerated Clock: On
+ Skill Level: All-Pro
+ Weather: Clear
+ Injuries: Off
+ Fatigue: On, 50.
+ Game Speed: Normal
+ Sliders: Default
+Ties: In the event of a tie in the first play through, a second play through of the match must be played up until the first half has been completed. If the game is still tied when the first half has been completed, then the second half of the game must be completed.
+Pausing is not allowed unless due to emergency or to call timeout. Any other instance is judge’s decision.
+Any form of cheating, glitching, gentlemen agreements, abusing in-game mechanics, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be permitted.

On July 20th, 21st and 22nd, the Crowne Plaza Hotel will open its doors to welcome the Fighting Game Community Defend The North (DTN2018), a major fighting game tournament.
New York City consists of a diverse gaming community that has grown substantially over the previous years. As you may know, New York City is a tourist attraction and we believe that it can be a great destination for gamers who travel to these tournaments year round. DTN2018 will provide a venue that will advertise to players and spectators of all levels.
Both players and spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy competitive fighting gameplay as well as additional events that will occur simultaneously. They will also enjoy the opportunity to play and watch the best of the East Coast, as we try to defend our home court.

Offline training session every Friday Night at Next Level in NYC.
This event is not exclusive to Street Fighter V players. Any fighting game player is welcome to come and play their game in the venue.
If you don’t join tournaments at the moment because you don’t feel ready, fine. But feel free to join us at Next Level so we can train together in a non-tournament setting.
All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or expert player.
