Hey All,
The next NY Tecmo meetup will be on Wednesday, June 20th at Raven’s Head Public House in Astoria, Queens. The meetup starts at 6 pm and lasts until whenever. We usually have a theme and this one will be Death by Field Goals. I’ll leave you guys to guess what that means!
We’re going to have a few consoles going and we’ll also have some non-Tecmo games like Baseball Stars and Super Mario 3 for anyone who wants a change of pace. Feel free to invite others along to come hang out and play some pick up and play games!
If you are able to bring any equipment, it’s much appreciated. Also, stay tuned for some official Northeast Tecmo tournament announcements!
Viva Tecmo!

Welcome to Peanut Butter Game Jam where a handful of game developers will compete for the ultimate prize, a Jar of Grade A Peanut Butter.
Each programmer will have 5-10 minutes to present their own custom video game they created over the last month or two. They will prove to a captivated live audience their respective game is best.
There will be an Audience Vote at the end to determine the The Peanut Butter Champ!
The theme of our first show? Peanut Butter. Programmers will have to make a game that somehow incorporates this theme.
Come ready to jam!

Seattle? Montreal? Why is E3 held in Los Angeles? Those places hardly compare to New York City, the mecca of innovative creators, risk takers, and go getters. Diversity, technology, and art all intersect and thrive in this magical place; so why is New York often cast to the side within the gaming industry? Why aren’t we recognized more for the cultural impacts our major players make?
Join us as we delve into the complex realities of New York City’s gaming industry. From the five boroughs and beyond, we’ll discuss what it is like for developers, players, and publishers to work, thrive, and succeed in the greatest city in the world.
