Relive the glory days of the 1980s while playing classic arcade games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong and singing your hearts out to ’80s karaoke music. No need to bring quarters as games are all set to free play, but please do bring the big hair, acid-washed jeans, shoulder pads, and Members Only jackets. And now we’ve added over 30 classic consoles from the 70s through the 90s so you can play all your retro favorites like Pong and games on the Atari 2600 all the way through to the Nintendo 64.

Cradle-Con was founded in June 2018 to raise funds for the Cradle of Aviation Museum’s education programs. Cradle-Con is a pure celebration of all things comic book culture. About the Long Island Retro Gaming Expo – August 2019
Long Island’s premier gaming convention began with a simple idea, “Let’s make the kind of show we’d all want to go to!” And that’s exactly what they’ve done by providing a friendly and welcoming environment to everyone, including guests, volunteers and vendors. Heading into their 5th year in 2019, their “fun-first” approach has guided them from a small single day show to a multi-day celebration of gaming with over 4300 attendees in 2018. In 2017, they expanded their reach to include tabletop gaming, and the Long Island Tabletop Gaming Expo was born. Next Level is having a tournament every month until “whenever” to allow local players from the NYC area (and beyond) to have a place to test there skills in a friendly and competitive environment! There are casuals open on the stations leading up to the event as well as after. We will try and stream games and the finals as well.

• Registration closes an hour before tournament start time.
• Format: Double-elimination brackets. 2/3 games until finals. 3/5 games for Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals.
• Registration is limited to the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia.
• WIRED CONNECTIONS ONLY. Players using a wireless connection will be disqualified.

Check-in

• Participants must join the Team Spooky Discord and be available an hour before the tournament starts for orientation.
• Once you have joined the server, change your nick to include both smash.gg and in-game user names. Example: TeamSpooky (TeamSpookyGBVS)

How to play

• Once the tournament begins, message your opponent in the appropriate channel and play your first match.
• Tag an @Admin after the match is over and report your results with the winner and score.
• Each round takes 15 minutes. Example: Winners Round 1 begins at 5:00 PM, Winners Round 2 begins at 5:15 PM, etc.
• Please wait for an @Admin to announce each round before starting your next Winners side match.
• Losers side matches can be played immediately without waiting until top 8.
• Select matches will be played on the tournament stream. Players will be invited to the stream lobby by an @Admin. Do not play your match off-stream if you are selected.
• All Top 8 matches will be streamed.
• Participants are allowed to stream their gameplay on their individual channels.

Game-specific Rules

• Platform: Playstation 4
• Game settings: 2/3 rounds, 99 seconds, 2/3 games until finals. 3/5 games for Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals.
• Winners must keep same characters. Losers can switch characters.
• Gold color is banned.
• RPG Mode weapons are allowed.
