New York City consists of a diverse gaming community that has grown substantially over the previous years. As you may know, New York City is a tourist attraction and we believe that it can be a great destination for gamers who travel to these tournaments year round. DTN2018 will provide a venue that will advertise to players and spectators of all levels.
Both players and spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy competitive fighting gameplay as well as additional events that will occur simultaneously. They will also enjoy the opportunity to play and watch the best of the East Coast, as we try to defend our home court.

This event is not exclusive to Street Fighter V players. Any fighting game player is welcome to come and play their game in the venue.
If you don’t join tournaments at the moment because you don’t feel ready, fine. But feel free to join us at Next Level so we can train together in a non-tournament setting.
All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or expert player.

At the end of each group stage, a certain number of players will advance forward to the next stage of the event based on their total points in that round.
If two or more Players earn the same amount of points, ties will be resolved by applying the following tiebreaking mechanisms, in order of application:
- Total games won during the tournament round on which the tie occurred.
- Total number of Top 4 placements within the the tournament round in which the tie occurred.
- The head to head results within each individual tournament game on which the tie occurred (ex. if player 1 placed higher than player 2 in 2/3 tournament games this round).
