Come meet and compete with the NYC Smash Bros community at Offside Tavern NYC in the heart of Manhattan on Saturday, February 23rd!
Community Gaming will be hosting a 6 hour event for the Smash community at our favorite gamer friendly sports bar. Arrival time is 12:00pm-12:30pm. ALL skill levels are welcome!
Tickets are $20 and include 1 free drink and entry into the Smash Bros tournament + access to the beer pong tables. We’ll be supplying the Nintendo Switches and controllers, but feel free to bring your own. Prizing details will be announced next week.

RULES: We will be using the Genesis 6 Smash Ultimate Ruleset.
All sets will be a best-of-3 games until the top cut, to where sets become become best-of-5 games. Games will be 3 stock / 8 minutes for both singles and doubles.
All stages will have hazards off. After each game, the winning player may ban two stages from the full stage list. The stage list is as follows:

Relive the glory days of the 1980s while playing classic arcade games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong and singing your hearts out to ’80s karaoke music. No need to bring quarters as games are all set to free play, but please do bring the big hair, acid-washed jeans, shoulder pads, and Members Only jackets. And now we’ve added over 30 classic consoles from the 70s through the 90s so you can play all your retro favorites like Pong and games on the Atari 2600 all the way through to the Nintendo 64.
