Venue entry is $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Advance tickets end the Friday before at midnight.
There will be stations set up, but we encourage you to bring your Switch. The first 20 people who bring a setup (switch/dock/monitor) will receive free admission! We will have as many extra gamecube controllers and USB adapters as possible.
There will be security precautions in place to ensure that everyone’s stuff is safe as well.

Smash Ultimate –
-Due to the upcoming nature of Super Smash Bros Ultimate any rules are subject to change UP UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
At this time we aim to run 3 stock 8 minute best of 3 matches that switch to best of 5 for later rounds. Check back for added rules to be added once the TOs know more about the game.
Smash Melee –
Melee shall be operated via the EVO 2018 ruleset, and are as follows.
Game version: US Nintendo GameCube
Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games
Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium.
Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.
First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order.
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans.
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

Audience participation is essential as a live crowd and online viewers—from the streaming platform Twitch—suggest new rules and new gags. The film is an exceptional directorial debut that focuses on the Chinatown Fair, the Mott Street landmark where generations honed their craft, made friends and lost at tic-tac-toe to a chicken. Masterfully presenting the sights and sounds of a changing scene, wistful yet hopeful, and full of the faces and characters that radiate fun and innovation, The Lost Arcade is a dazzling portrait of technostalgia and a timely commentary on the corporate era’s incineration of modest businesses, and the resiliency of the dedicated enthusiasts.
Director/Producer Irene Chin will host a Q&A after screening.

Irene Chin is a filmmaker and writer originally from Alexandria, Virginia and Honolulu, Hawaii, and now lives in Brooklyn, New York. Her first short film as director/producer, The Bachelorette Party, premiered at the NewFilmmakers NY series at Anthology Film Archives. Her first documentary as writer/producer, The Lost Arcade, premiered at DOC NYC and went on to screen at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Wexner Center for the Arts, Open City Docs London, Melbourne International Film Festival, Glasgow International Film Festival, IFFBoston. The New York Times called The Lost Arcade, “Part scrappy, part sweet, and wholly enjoyable…a love letter to a vanished piece of New York.” The New Yorker said the film was “raw and intimate.” Irene graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
