– 36 Hour Continuous Ladder Tournament From 12:00PM EST 12/7 until 12:00AM EST 12/9

– 2v2 Doubles Bracket – Saturday 12/8 starting at 3:00 PM EST

– 1v1 Singles Bracket Saturday Evening 12/8 (exact time TBD)

– Drop in and drop out access for almost all 48 hours!
* note you cannot re-enter the venue between 3:00-6:00am if you had left prior, however if you are still inside you will not be required to leave

– The event will run consecutively for 50hrs from Midnight on December 7th until 2:00am EST on December 9th.
* Please note that from 3:00-6:00am EST each night the entrance doors will be closed. This means you are free to leave during those hours, but you may not re-enter until 6:00am EST.

Smash Ultimate –
-Due to the upcoming nature of Super Smash Bros Ultimate any rules are subject to change UP UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
At this time we aim to run 3 stock 8 minute best of 3 matches that switch to best of 5 for later rounds. Check back for added rules to be added once the TOs know more about the game.

Smash Melee –
Melee shall be operated via the EVO 2018 ruleset, and are as follows.

Game version: US Nintendo GameCube
Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games
Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium.
Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.
First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order.
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans.
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

The iconic New Yorker Hotel is located at 481 8th Ave in Midtown Manhattan. Public transportation is available from all 3 major NYC airports: Newark (EWR), John F Kennedy (JFK), and LaGuardia (LGA):

From EWR: Take the Airtrain to Newark Airport train station. Then transfer to a NJ TRANSIT train to NEW YORK Penn Station.

From JFK: Take the Airtrain to Jamaica Station. Then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E train and stop at 34th St Penn Station.

From LGA: Take the Q70 SBS Bus to Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th St (Guests coming from Terminal A must take the Q47 Bus instead). Then take an E train to 34th St Penn Station.
