We’re partnering up with DGU for a Tecmo Super Bowl and Retro Sports Meetup on Wednesday January 16th! We’ll be busting out a few old school CRT TVs and all and any versions of Tecmo are fair game!

We have some house sticks but definitely please feel free to bring your own stick/controller to ensure so you don’t have to wait for one to free up.
· DON’T BE CREEPY. Our intent is to provide a fun, safe space for all attendees. Harassers will be kicked out of the venue on the spot, and banned from further events.
· DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK INTO VENUE

I am pleased to announce that Tecmo Super Bowl in New York will return in early 2019! The next Northeast Tecmo tournament will be a Rumble in the Bronx for the first time ever! The format for the Bronx Bowl is a little different from other Northeast Tecmo tournaments, and we hope this could make for an interesting tournament with some interesting matchups and upsets! Come meet and compete with the NYC Smash Bros community at Offside Tavern NYC in the heart of Manhattan on Saturday, February 23rd!
Community Gaming will be hosting a 6 hour event for the Smash community at our favorite gamer friendly sports bar. Arrival time is 12:00pm-12:30pm. ALL skill levels are welcome!
Tickets are $20 and include 1 free drink and entry into the Smash Bros tournament + access to the beer pong tables. We’ll be supplying the Nintendo Switches and controllers, but feel free to bring your own. Prizing details will be announced next week.

RULES: We will be using the Genesis 6 Smash Ultimate Ruleset.
All sets will be a best-of-3 games until the top cut, to where sets become become best-of-5 games. Games will be 3 stock / 8 minutes for both singles and doubles.
All stages will have hazards off. After each game, the winning player may ban two stages from the full stage list. The stage list is as follows:
